MERITORIOUS STUDENTS FELICITATED AT SILIGURI TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 18th July, 2016: Prabhat Khabar, the National Hindi leading daily in collaboration with Uttar Banga Marwari Sewa Trust today felicitated 286 meritorious students of 31 schools in an around Siliguri. Most of the students felicitated were the pass outs of Tenth standard and Twelfth standard irrespective of the education boards and councils. These students passed out with flying colors in their respective board exams this year. The chief guest in this occasion was the MIC Tourism Mr. Gautam Deb. The other guest of honor were the IG of BSF North Bengal Mr. Kamal N Cchaubey, IG BSF Mr. Tarakeswar Mitra, The state editor of Prabhat Khabar of Mr. Pinaki Gupta, the DGM of Prabhat Khabar along with other eminent dignitaries of the society. The program started at around at 2 pm at Uttarbanga Marwari Sewa Trust Bhawan located at Sevok Road, Siliguri. The organizers in an interaction with TNI said that such program will be held at 187 districts of West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand. In West Bengal Siliguri became the maiden venue of this program later on Asansol, Durgapur, Kolkata and Raniganj will follow.
